BRASA Blacks
Undergraduate
Self-identify as Black or Brown;
Be Brazilian, native-born or naturalized;
Be committed to empowering the Brazilian Black community;
Have been accepted to or be enrolled in a full undergraduate program at a university abroad, with graduation expected from December 2024 onward;
Demonstrate financial need for the BRASA Scholarship through documents such as income tax returns and, if applicable, the university’s financial aid or scholarship award letter.
Graduate
Self-identify as Black or Brown;
Be Brazilian, native-born or naturalized;
Be committed to empowering the Brazilian Black community;
Have been accepted to or be enrolled in a full graduate program (master’s or PhD) at a university abroad, with graduation expected from December 2024 onward;
Demonstrate financial need for the BRASA Scholarship through income documentation and a financial aid award letter from the university.

Psychological assistance is offered to scholars throughout their academic journey to promote emotional and mental well-being.

Networking with Black Brazilian Leaders
Connection with Black Brazilian leaders who create positive impact in Brazil’s Black community, as well as with Black student empowerment groups at their universities.
